#LifeQuotes For Your Mind - Giving is a form of Happiness

Story that I read:

Christmas was just around the corner when Owne's brother gave Owen his
dream present : a brand new car.

On Christmas eve day, Owen went out of his house and walked towards
his brand new car when he saw a young boy about age of 13 was looking
with envy at his brand new car. The young boy was in rag and looked
like he was from the downtown.

The boy asked Owen when he approached the car: " Sir, is this your car?"
Owen knotted his head and said "Yes, this is my car and my brother
bought for me as a Christmas present."

"Your brother bought this car for you! And you don't need to pay a
single cent!" The boy exclaimed." Wow, I wish one day I could...."
Owen smiled and thought that the boy must have wish for such a brother
that he had.

Owen was in a good mood and asked : "Do you want to take a spin in my car?"
The boy was shocked and said "Wonderful!! I am very happy. Could you
give me a lift to my house and stop for a while?"

Owen smiled and agreed to the boy request. Owen thought that the boy
wants to show off to his neighbour that he came back in a new car.
After traveled for a short distance, they stopped in front of a old
house without much Christmas decoration . The boy said to Owen: "Sir,
could you wait for a while? I will be right back."

Before Owen could reply, the boy dashed out to his house. Not long,
Owen can hear heavier footstep approaching him. He turned around and
saw that the boy was carrying a small boy behind his back. Apparently,
this small boy was his brother.

As they came nearer, Owen noticed that the small boy's leg was
unusual. The boy gently put his brother at the steps of their house
and sit very close to him. He pointed to Owen's new car and said: " Do
you see it? This is the car I told you about, very pretty and cool
right? This is a Christmas present from his brother! No need to spend
a cent. One day, I will also give you a brand new car just like this
one for you. Then we can go around the place and see shops by the side
with all their best Christmas decoration!"

As the boy spoke, he placed his face next to his brother cheek and his
eye were full of hope and happiness.

Owen's eyes filled with tears when he heard what the boy said. He
jumped down from his car, picked up the 2 boys and put them in his
car.

The boy looked at Owen with gratefulness. That day, Owen and the 2
boys had a wonderful Christmas Eve ever.

This year Christmas, Owen understand that "Giving is happier than Receiving"
